Daily Calorie Intake - this is a rule of thumb guide  the calculates your calorie requirements

I should be accepted that this is a guide and a healthy diet is always preferred. we advise that you talk to a professional dietician if you wish to gain knowledge of foods and food stuffs. Saying that; common sense should always take precedent. For example, process foods although tasty are not great. A lot of foods come as healthy but are full of salt and sugar.. Especially take away Pizza's. Deep fried food are never going to be accepted as healthy food even though fish is good for you. Snacks are not great, sweets, crisps, biscuits are all going to be look upon unfavourably.

I would recommend that home cooked food is always going to be better for you. However, I am a firm believer that quantity of food is our biggest problem, plates are larger and we fill it up. This is where I believe our obesity problem comes from.
